Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-01 · This page is available in English and Chinese only.

CCDub is a browser extension that translates YouTube subtitles and reads them aloud with AI-generated voices. It is built and operated independently by an individual developer. By using the service you agree to these terms.

1. What the service does

CCDub translates the subtitles of YouTube videos into a language you choose and can speak the translation using synthesized voices. Paid plans add higher translation quotas, more voices, and features such as voice cloning.

The service depends on subtitle data from YouTube and on third-party translation and speech providers. Their availability is outside our control, and changes on their side may affect parts of the service.

CCDub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or the AI model providers we use.

2. Accounts

Paid features require signing in through our shared account service (auth.qhkly.com). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms. Where that happens, any paid but unused period is handled under section 4.

3. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed by third-party providers. Creem acts as the merchant of record and is responsible for the transaction, taxes, and related compliance, so your statement may show Creem rather than this service.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you selected until you cancel. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and no further charges are made.

One-time plans do not renew and simply expire at the end of their term.

4. Refunds

You may request a full refund for any reason within 24 hours of payment. No explanation is required.

After 24 hours, refunds are available where a technical fault makes the service unusable and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time. Other requests are generally not accepted.

To request a refund, email jiayiqiu@qhkly.com with the address on your account and your order details. We process requests promptly; how long the money takes to arrive depends on your payment provider.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, circumvent quota or billing controls, or subject it to automated bulk scraping or load testing.

Copyright in the videos you process stays with their authors. You are responsible for ensuring your use of that content complies with the law where you are and with the rules of the platform hosting it.

6. AI-generated output

Translations and dubbing are produced by AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate wording. Do not rely on them where accuracy is critical, such as medical, legal, or financial contexts.

Voice cloning may only be used with your own voice or a voice you are clearly authorised to use. Impersonating others, misleading the public, or any form of fraud is prohibited, and we may end service for misuse.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Our total liability to you will not exceed what you actually paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Contact

The service is operated independently by an individual developer. For questions about these terms, use the Contact us link at the bottom of this page.

10. Operator

CCDub is developed and operated by JIA YIQIU, an independent software developer based in Beijing, China.
